GX Reporting

Terms of Use & Data Policy

1. Data Processing

Generosity Experience Corporation ("we", "us") processes fundraising and donor data on behalf of our nonprofit clients ("you", "your organization") to provide analytics, reporting, and insights through the GX Reporting platform. All data is stored and processed securely within Google Cloud Platform infrastructure located exclusively in Canada. Our primary data location is the Montreal region (northamerica-northeast1), with the Toronto region (northamerica-northeast2) serving as a secondary location for redundancy and disaster recovery. All data residency remains within Canadian borders at all times.

2. Data Ownership

All client data uploaded to or processed through GX Reporting remains the sole property of the client organization. Generosity Experience Corporation acts strictly as a data processor on your behalf. We do not sell, license, or share your data with any third parties. You retain full rights to your data at all times and may request a complete export or deletion at any point.

3. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. Measures in place include:

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained in GX Reporting for the duration of your active service agreement with Generosity Experience Corporation. Upon termination of the agreement, all client data — including raw uploads, processed reporting data, and any associated metadata — will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. A final data export will be provided upon request prior to deletion.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of GX Reporting, you agree to:

6. Acceptable Use

The GX Reporting dashboard is provided for authorized business purposes only — specifically, reviewing and analyzing your organization's fundraising performance. You agree not to:

7. Benchmarking

Generosity Experience Corporation may use anonymized, aggregated data across clients to generate industry benchmarks and comparative analytics. No individual client will be identifiable in benchmarking data. These benchmarks help all clients understand how their fundraising performance compares to sector averages. If you prefer to opt out of benchmarking, please contact us and we will exclude your data from aggregate calculations.

8. Use of Artificial Intelligence

GX Reporting uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools in two areas of the platform. Your use of these features is subject to the following:

Data Processing & Column Mapping

When integrating data from multiple sources, we use AI to assist in understanding field names and their purposes across different platforms (e.g., CRM systems, online giving platforms, email marketing tools). To protect your privacy, we do not send your actual donor data to AI services. Instead, we randomize and anonymize a small sample of column values so that the AI can identify field types and suggest mappings — without ever seeing real donor records, names, amounts, or personally identifiable information. This process helps us blend and report on your data across multiple sources more efficiently and accurately.

AI Reporting Assistant (AI Buddy)

The dashboard includes an optional AI-powered assistant that can help you interpret your reporting data, identify trends, and answer questions about your fundraising performance. This feature uses only anonymized, aggregated metrics from your dashboard — such as totals, averages, and percentages — and does not access or transmit any underlying donor-level data, PII, or raw records. Clients may opt into or out of this feature at any time.

AI processing is provided by Anthropic (Claude). No client data is used to train AI models. All AI interactions are stateless — no conversation history is retained between sessions.

9. Limitation of Liability

GX Reporting is provided "as is" for informational and analytical purposes. While we strive for accuracy, Generosity Experience Corporation does not guarantee that all data, calculations, or reports will be error-free. Generosity Experience Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to decisions made based on dashboard data. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by your organization for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

Generosity Experience Corporation may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulations. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email or through a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Contact

If you have questions about these terms or our data practices, please contact Generosity Experience Corporation at hello@generosityx.com.
